I have always taken a quick glance at Anastase's collections, but this season he really made me sit up and take note. The thing I loved about this collection is the way Anastase stuck to his quirky, eclectic designs without ramming it down your throat and trying too hard to make a statement. His work is always effortlessly eccentric. You can truly tell this collection is an honest representation of Anastase's personality. Much like his past collections, Anastase's A/W 2010 has a feel of Westwood, without, however, seeming copied or contrived. Though he stems from French/Armenian roots, Anastase is well suited to London's rebellious aesthetic and London Fashion Week is most certainly the place for him.
